Pioppi del Colorado della serie “Piccoli viaggi di carta” pastelli a olio su carta color tabacco 16,5 x 11,5 Quel viaggio appartiene ad un tempo lontano. E lontano è anche il ricordo dipinto. L’America che più mi piace non si trova nelle città caotiche ma nei territori sconfinati delle pianure e delle montagne. Le foglie dei pioppi del Colorado in quei giorni ondeggiavano nel vento come farfalle gialle. E anch’io mi sentivo una farfalla libera in una breve vita.
